cold-formedsteel is made of hot-rolled or cold-rolled steel sheet as raw material andprocessed by roll-bending at normal temperature to produce variouscross-sectional shapes. cold-formed steel itself has many advantagessuch as uniform cross-section, low energy consumption and high economicbenefits. at the same time, it has high versatility and safety. therefore,armored car bodies are increasingly using high-strength cold-formed steel.

2.1 basic content ofdesign

thebasic content of this graduation design is to establish a finite element modelof the armored vehicle body through finite element software, to performdifferent forms of bending loading on the model, and to study its deformationunder different forms of loading. then, different types and sizes of residualstress values are assigned to the abaqus body model, and the effects ofdifferent residual stress values on the forming performance are analyzed by themodel. by simulating the loading in different situations, the cold bendingmodel of the armored steel was optimized.
