自人民币汇制改革以来,中国的贸易顺差和贸易额以及外汇储备均不减反而大幅增加,中美贸易的不平衡问题也并未因人民币的升值而改善,且再次掀起要求人民币更大幅度升值的风潮。因此,人民币汇改尤其是由此引发的人民币升值的贸易效应,以及中国贸易顺差的深层次根源,值得深思。
