3. 国内外研究现状

One Flew Over The Cuckoo''''s Nest was published in 1962, which brought the fame and fortune to Ken. At the same time, because of its deep and profound social significance, Ken also got many critics#8217; mixed reviews. The novel is considered to be one of the most successful novels in the sixties of the 20th century in the United States. If Salinger''''s the Catcher in the Rye is said to be the most popular novel in the 1950s, then Catch-22 and One Flew Over The Cuckoo''''s Nest share the same reputation in the 1960s, which shows the social influence and research significance of the novel. As an important writer, Ken k''''s works have received the widespread attention in the United States. The unique theme and the style of novel not only won critical acclaim, but also won the majority of readers. However, due to various reasons, in China his works did not gain widespread attention, critical research on the One Flew Over The Cuckoo''''s Nest is rare.
