this thesis setsits goal to studies the fusion process between karma, self- redemption, andretribution for good and evil and re-examines redemption of humanity throughbuddhist thoughts.

this thesis elaboratesfrom three aspects: amir’s bad deed, his retribution and behavior ofself-redemption.

for the firstpart, amir did something bad to his friend hassan in early age; it is amir’saction that causes his bad deed. and because of his cowardice, amir did notstep forward bravely and protect hassan when hassan was raped, and amir chasedhassan and his father away by framing up. so it is his bad deed.
