1. 研究目的与意义（文献综述）

research purpose:

forest destruction, water pollution, novel virus diseases... ecological crises are serious and urgent problems in the 21^stcentury, making it increasingly important to raise human’s awareness of protecting the ecology. compared with otherexisting analyses such as human evil, symbolic meaning, mythological prototypes, etc., there is less research on ecological criticism of william golding’s lord of the flies.under the guidance of the theory of eco-criticism, this research will reinterpret lord of the fliesfrom three aspects, that is, natural ecology, social ecology and spiritual ecology, aiming at revealing william golding’s ecological thoughts and rethink the coexistence of human and nature. further, this paper tries to explore the relationship between man and nature, man and society and man and himself in orderto help to promote the balance of the entire ecosystem.
