as an uncontroversialmasterpiece, lady chatterley's lover has sparked discussion for centuries. however, the domestic scholars emphasize character analysis of the heroine--constance and setting analysis from the perspective of eco-criticism. as an epitome of the upper class in the industrializing england, clifford is less concerned and discussed. thus, this paper makesup for the blank of the hero--clifford analysis from the perspective of trauma theory, and further practices the trauma theory in literature.
