the iceberg theory was first proposed by freud, who believed that the psychological structure of people is composed of three parts: consciousness, preconsciousness and subconscious. there is a huge space hidden in the depths of the human heart. the consciousness is just like the tip of the iceberg floating on the surface, while the subconscious is the huge body hidden under the water.
