research purpose:

with the awakening of woman consciousness and the improvement of womanstatus, entertainment products such as women' novels and filmsspring up endlessly.with the development of the times, the forms of artistic expression have been changing: from the rebellion of external formsto flauntthe independence of women in 1990s to the maturity of internal forms to praise the self-discovery of women in 2020s. theperformanceof womangrowth is shown incisively and vividly in the film. this researchis aiming atdiscussing the meaning and significance of womangrowth from the novel little women and its film adaptations. through analysis which realizes amy’ traits of character in different times, this research elaborates how contemporary female grow up.
