从语言运用的理论与实践来讲,人际交流中的得体与否,比符合语言规范更重要。
作为跨文化人际交流的媒介,翻译理应重视译文的得体性,所谓“文贵得体”更有学者认为得体是翻译的最高标准。
因此何为得体如何得体理所当然的进入了文体翻译研究者的视野。

1 文献综述法 借助书籍、报刊杂志和网络收集大量国内外有关功能翻译理论的相关资料,通过对这些文献的分析、比较和整理,构建较为完善的理论体系,为研究提供较为丰富的资料源泉,使论文的创作得以顺利进行。
2 案例分析法 基于对比一些通俗文学的翻译实列,了解这类的实用文体的特征以及性质。通过归纳、分析,论证功能翻译理论在此类文本的汉译英中的指导作用。分析译者的翻译词法、句法和语义篇章等。通过一些实例探讨译者所采用的翻译策略及方法
