1. 研究目的与意义

With the accelerating process of global integration, China and the West have become more closely linked. More and more Chinese people learn the most widely used language in the world #8211; English. However, in the course of learning English, Chinese people have encountered many problems. What we will study in this article is exactly one of them. Because the use habits of Chinese will directly affect the acquisition of the second language--English, and play a positive role in promoting English study or have negative interference on English acquisition. Therefore, this paper studies the influence of Chinese on the acquisition of English from the negative aspects of language transfer.Due to the strict form of the English language structure, the elements in the sentence are linked together. Therefore, cohesive words are particularly important,because the connectives is a simple and direct way to link sentences and words in English, and it is one of the most important elements for the beginners of the second language to learn to cultivate the logical thinking of English and improve the ability to use English.

2. 研究内容和预期目标

Research content: This study is based on the framework of Speech act theory, cognitive theory and the cohesion theory of language and coherence theory. The approaches of comparative analysis and error analysis are used as research methods. Along with the analysis of the selection of connectives, this paper focuses on the problems that English learners meet in English acquisition especially when they need to link sentences and get feasible solutions for those problems.This paper will summarize why English learners will make mistakes in the use of connectives and further explore the related problems that English learners need to pay attention to and try to correct. Moreover it will get effective improving ways for teachers. Key problems:How to accurately choose the research method of language transfer?What are the problems of the English learners have when they use English connectives?How to improve the ability of English learners to use their connectives correctly? 3. 国内外研究现状

A study of the transfer of two language acquisition began in the 50 and 60s twentieth Century. The concept of transfer comes from behaviorism psychology which refers to the psychological process of the knowledge that people have already mastered in a new learning environment. During this period, the positive and negative affect in the theory of language transfer between mother tongue and the second language produced the contrastive analysis approach( Ellis,1994). The concept of mother tongue transfer has also been widely paid more and more attention. However, with the rise of the approach of error analysis, the approach of contrastive analysis has been gradually ignored, but both ways are involved in the study of language transfer. The study of language transfer in west countries reached a climax in the 90s of last century. So far, great achievements have been made both in theory and in practice. Compared with foreign countries, the domestic study of language transfer just began in the 90s of last century and developed slowly. The domestic related articles published in China are still limited and the monographs are few(沈桂琴, 2014). The theoretical exploration is not deep and as much as enough, nonetheless the major theories and expositions are quoted from foreign countries mostly. But the current article has explained the positive and negative influence on transfer function of Chinese in English learning. Moreover, the explanations of the influence on the transfer of mother tongue on English learning is described in detail in some aspects such as vocabulary, grammar and phonetics. And the pertinent teaching strategy and the detailed method are put forward accordingly.
