Therefore, the publication of A Dream of Red Mansions caused a great response and made him famous.A Dream of Red Mansions, also called The Story of the Stone, is regarded as one of the four classic novels of Chinese literature. The novel takes the rise and fall of Jia, Shi, Wang and Xue as the background, showing the true beauty of humanity and tragedy.The achievement of A Dream of Red Mansions is prominently manifested in the author's creation of hordes of flesh-and-blood personalities. It has shaped many characters, each of them has its own unique personality characteristics and has become an immortal artistic model, which makes life real and interesting. In A Dream of Red Mansions , the story is going on, the character of the figure is showing, the fun of life is permeated, and the secret of life is revealed. Its detailed description and language description inherited and developed the tradition of the excellent novels of the previous generation. However, the studies of the characters in The Story of the Stone focus mainly on the female characters for a long time. Comparatively speaking, the studies on the male characters in the novel are less in number and not so high in quality. Therefore, this article selects the special perspective of men's "tears", through a detailed analysis of the causes and processes of the tears of several men in A Dream of Red Mansions, to examine the uniqueness of their personalities and lives respectively. And then discuss the important role of tears in shaping male characters and plot development.

2. 研究的基本内容、问题解决措施及方案

This paper aims at studying the several male images in A Dream of Red Mansions. The most important characters in the dream of red mansions are Magic Jade and female characters, but male characters are closely related to them, so I plan to start with male characters. From this detail of their "crying," "men don't cry lightly, they just don't cry." In the male-dominated culture of the time, male tears are more profound and reflect the problem. In the first eighty rounds, Jia , Zhen , Liu, Jia, Jia, Xue and so on all cried.
