research purpose:

theforeign languages press has published the book series on xi jinping: the governance of china ii, reflecting the track and achievements of the formation anddevelopment of xi jinping thought on socialism with chinese characteristics fora new era. it has been widely concerned and highly valued by readers andleaders at home and abroad. among all kinds of researches, the content onchinese culture-specific items translation is relatively lacking. thus, thisresearch summarizes 114 culture-specific items of poetry on xi jinping: the governance of china ii to explore their translationstrategies. with reference to the differences in methods between translationand interpretation under the same cultural, this paper analyzes the generaltendency of culture-specific items translation, and then draws the methods andstrategies of chinese cultural-specific translation.
