1. 研究目的与意义（文献综述）

research purpose:

as an important symbol of a society, a region or acity, urban linguistic landscape plays a pivotal role in showing the social andcultural context as well as the civilization development. however, due to thelack of official standard currently, further progress can still be made in thetranslation practice of urban linguistic landscape under the context of therapid development of internationalization. this paper collects the latestbilingual public signs in the east lake scenic area, a national 5a touristscenic spot, and establishes a corpus, aiming at analyzing and summarizing thetranslation strategies of the urban linguistic landscape, and trying to provideconstructive suggestions in light of the problems found in the research, hence,to promote the construction of urban linguistic landscape in wuhan.
