research purpose:

with the deepening of china's globalization strategy in the 21st century, as the center of china's economy, finance, trade and shipping, shanghai's cultural model has also been studied and sought after by chinese and foreign scholars. shanghai, as one of the earliest modern cities in china, has formed a shanghai style culture with local characteristics due to the forced invasion of western culture into “oriental culture”. the purpose of this study is to specifically analyze the influence of "concession culture" on the character and lifestyle of shanghai citizens, and to see the charm of shanghai, an ancient butmodern city.
