Abstract

The development of enterprises is in a changeable environment, so it is difficult to comprehensively reflect the development of enterprises simply by using financial analysis. The harvard analysis framework is an analysis method that combines the strategic research, environmental analysis and financial analysis of enterprises. Based on the framework of harvard, this paper analyzes the financial, environmental and strategic aspects of D company, and puts forward Suggestions on the development of D company from three aspects: seizing the development opportunities of Shanghai, enhancing scientific and technological innovation, and maintaining good cash flow.

1.Research Background and Significance

With the rapid development of economy and science and technology, every year there are millions of enterprises into the market, in 2018, the China Daily of new enterprise 18300 households, 2019, 19700 households, and cancellation of the companies are also increased year by year, annual cancellation of companies in 2016-2018 respectively 974600, 124.5 in 1.8135 million [1], although the cause of the failure is differ, but one of the factors is that enterprises lack the ability of strategic management analysis. The ultimate goal of the companys strategy is to improve the market competitiveness based on the stable development of the enterprise and the realization of long-term goals. The lack of strategic analysis will lead to serious short- term behaviors, inaccurate positioning, gradual separation from reality, or even blind expansion and development of the enterprise. On the contrary, if the enterprise fully considers the social political and economic factors as well as the competitive structure of the industry, it will be beneficial to the long-term development of the enterprise to make clear the advantages and disadvantages of the company and conduct in-depth data analysis of financial statements. Therefore, perfect strategic analysis is a necessary condition for the sustainable and stable development of enterprises.Taking D group co., LTD as an example, this paper USES the harvard analysis framework to analyze the companys finance, environment and strategy, and puts forward Suggestions for the companys development.

2.Relevant Theoretical Basis

In 2000, k.g. pap, p.m.haly and v.l.bernard of Harvard University put forward the concept of harvard analytical framework, which is a financial analysis system combining data analysis and strategic analysis of financial statements. The harvard analytical framework consists of four parts: strategic analysis, accounting analysis, financial analysis and perspective analysis. [2]

Due to the different accounting policies and treatment methods selected by different enterprises or the same enterprise in different accounting periods, the comparability of report data will arise. In 2003, Volkswagen taxi won the 'national quality management award'. In 2004, D company became the first enterprise in the industry to win the 'international asia-pacific quality award'.
