由于其分离效能好、灵敏度高，这种分析方法也越来越被重视。
其主要应用于化学成分研究，包括挥发油分析、生物碱分析、糖类分析等，还有中药指纹图谱和质量控制研究。
GC-MS分析是优化生产工艺、建立质量标准的有效手段之一。

This method has became more and more appreciated because of efficient separation and high sensitivity. It was mainly used in the research of chemical composition, including analysis of essential oil, alkaloid and saccharides. Also used in the research of fingerprinting on TCM and quality control. GC-MS analysis was one of the effective measures to optimize the production technology and establish the quality standard.Key Words: GC-MS; chemical composition analysis; quality control; Traditional Chinese Medicine前言随着当代社会的进展，中药制剂更加频繁地出现在人们的生活里，这意味着对于中药的研究刻不容缓。
而GC-MS分析则是现下对于优化生产工艺和建立中药质量标准非常重要的手段之一。
GC-MS分离效能好、灵敏度高，可以准确的鉴定出中药中含有的化学成分，或是对两种不同中药中的同种化学成分进行对比。
同时，GC-MS分析可以帮助学者建立中药的指纹图谱，有助于中药指纹图谱的研究。
并且其可以用于评价中药材以及中药制剂半成品质量的真实性、优良性和稳定性，为中药的质量控制提供一定的数据支持。
