as a successful and widely welcomed animal film,zootopiatells a story about a bunny’s police dream. the bunny judy comes from bunny burrow, a small village where judy can not achieve her dream of being a police. though judy has tried her best to get a job at the police station in zootopia, she still faces a lot of challenges until being a real police bunny. during the process of coping with all the difficulties, judy witnesses lots of social problems while meets her lover, fox nick as well. the film has a profound meaning from the social aspect. from another aspect, the metaphors inzootopiaare numerous and complex, involving political, economic and social culture in american society. the film uses a lot of metaphors to help the audience to feel intimate and relatable, so that they can obtain enlightenment from the film. thus it is of great significance to study about it. this research is to analyze those sophisticated and various metaphors inzootopia, and to explore how the film reflects the reality through all of the metaphors this research brings out.
